How To Remove Duplicate Files

ou might not be aware but there is a high probability that you have duplicate files on your computer. These take up disk space and in some cases may get you into trouble. So here is a little program to help you remove duplicate files. Duplicate File Finder is a simple, but effective tool to locate duplicate files in one or more selected search paths.

1. Download the program from here.
2. When you open the program you will see in the top left corner a button Add Path.
Click it.
3. In the window that appears you can select the path where the program will look for duplicate files. Also, in the same window you have the option to select for which type of files the program will search.

Note: You can put in more than one path where to do the search.
4. When done click Start Search. Now the program scans the files and compares them based on Byte for Byte Comparison, which ensures 100% accuracy.
5. The program is multi threaded and performs scans quickly. At the end of the search you will be able to see all your duplicate files and choose the ones to erase.

That's it! Now you should have a cleaner computer.
